Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals between healthcare facilities with strict temperature control protocols
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and secure handling of sensitive materials
- Execute time-sensitive deliveries with 99.8% accuracy using GPS tracking systems
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Document delivery logs and handle chain-of-custody paperwork
- Provide real-time delivery status updates via mobile application
- Collaborate with dispatch teams during emergency medical situations
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean MVR record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or medical transport background
- OSHA bloodborne pathogen certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate hospital corridors with equipment
