Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, organs, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody protocols and HIPAA compliance during all transfers
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for time-sensitive pickups/deliveries
- Complete electronic manifests and route documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain clean, organized transport equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers during critical delivery windows
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical transport or healthcare logistics preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate hospital corridors with medical equipment
- Basic knowledge of biohazard handling and OSHA bloodborne pathogens standards
- Strong time management skills with ability to manage multiple urgent deliveries
