- Safely transport medical specimens, blood samples, and confidential documents between labs, hospitals, and clinics
- Maintain precise delivery records using GPS tracking and digital manifests
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard safety protocols at all times
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of transport equipment
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure urgent deliveries meet time-critical windows
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and packaging materials
- Resolve delivery exceptions through proactive communication with stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and navigate stairs with medical specimens
- Experience with time-sensitive logistics or healthcare transportation preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality standards
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation and basic digital documentation
