Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, aggregates, and debris across job sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance issues to fleet manager
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all hauls
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Reno/Sparks area routes and construction sites
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting
