Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight within Tampa Bay metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking documentation
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate directly with dispatch team for optimal routing and scheduling
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading coordination at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable late-model box truck (26' or larger) with current registration
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Smartphone with reliable data for dispatch communication
- Tampa Bay area familiarity and local route knowledge
- Pass background check and drug screening (post-hire)
