Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport goods to residential and commercial locations within the San Diego area.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain digital signatures or proof of delivery.
- Utilize handheld technology to manage routes, logs, and customer communication in real-time.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the truck and cargo area are clean and operational.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being polite, professional, and punctual.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Reliable personal vehicle or eligibility for company vehicle use.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong navigational skills and familiarity with GPS and mapping applications.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
