Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses within the San Diego area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Utilize handheld devices to log delivery status and update tracking information in real-time.
- Organize packages to ensure they remain secure and undamaged throughout the journey.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone technology for GPS navigation and electronic logging.
- Reliable transportation to and from the local terminal or designated starting point.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
