Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated addresses in a timely manner.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain signatures from recipients when required.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers at every delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or CDL preferred) with a clean driving record.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery duties (or ability to obtain company vehicle).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for GPS navigation and logging.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
