Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) within designated Pacific Northwest routes
- Execute efficient loading/unloading procedures with minimal dock time
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and adhere to FMCSA regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Uphold company safety protocols and defensive driving standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years recent commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Pacific Northwest geography
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
