Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver cargo to various locations in Sacramento and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients during deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (no more than 3 minor violations in 3 years).
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
