Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, pharmaceuticals, and critical supplies across Portland metro area
- Maintain strict temperature control and chain-of-custody protocols for sensitive shipments
- Utilize GPS routing software for efficient, on-time deliveries while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain meticulous delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service to hospitals, labs, and healthcare facilities
- Collaborate with dispatch team during emergency and stat delivery situations
- Adhere to all OSHA, DOT, and healthcare transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience or medical transport background
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
