Responsibilities
- Securely transport blood, tissue samples, organs, and temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals using specialized equipment
- Maintain HIPAA compliance protocols for all medical specimens and documentation
- Perform real-time GPS tracking and electronic delivery confirmations via mobile app
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain sterile transport conditions
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and surgical centers to ensure time-sensitive deliveries
- Document chain-of-custody procedures and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and Arizona medical transport guidelines
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean MVR record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving or medical transport experience
- Certification in HIPAA compliance and bloodborne pathogens training
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate temperature-controlled transport units
- Proficient with GPS navigation and electronic delivery systems
- Exceptional time management and crisis-resolution abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening (including DOT physical)
