Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and sensitive documents safely and securely from collection sites to laboratories and medical facilities.
- Maintain accurate, real-time logs of all deliveries and pick-ups using the company’s mobile tracking system.
- Ensure all packages comply with strict temperature control requirements and biohazard safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure the courier vehicle is road-ready and compliant.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to maintain a clean driving record.
- Handle sensitive patient information with the highest level of confidentiality and professional discretion.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and GPS navigation applications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict protocols without deviation.
