Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, organs, and critical supplies to 15+ partner facilities daily
- Maintain strict temperature control (2-8°C) for biologics during transit
- Document all transfers using HIPAA-compliant digital systems
- Coordinate with hospital staff for urgent pickups/deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Follow OSHA and DOT safety protocols for hazardous materials
- Resolve delivery exceptions through real-time communication
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical courier or bio-transport experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- CPR/First Aid certification required (training provided)
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile data terminals
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
