Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across the Southwest region using our fleet of late-model semi-trailers
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control or hazardous materials certification
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and warehouse personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 3 years of over-the-road freight experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service rules
- hazmat endorsement preferred
- Strong communication and time management skills
