Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight across designated routes in Wisconsin and surrounding states
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at delivery points
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route navigation and real-time communication
- Handle secure freight with attention to detail and confidentiality requirements
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions and delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and fleet management software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening as per FMCSA standards
