Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated routes with zero preventable accidents
- Complete pre-trip inspections, post-trip reports, and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts with precision
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining excellent customer communication
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
- Comply with all federal/state transportation regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable Class A driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
