Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes between Fort Wayne and key Midwest hubs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records per DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading with attention to detail and documentation
- Adhere to all FMCSA hours-of-service regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience with dedicated route familiarity preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity of Midwest regional highways
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Reliable communication skills and basic smartphone proficiency
- Flexible availability including weekend and overnight shifts
