Responsibilities
- Transport high-value freight between Plano distribution centers and regional destinations
- Maintain meticulous vehicle records and DOT compliance documentation
- Optimize delivery routes using advanced GPS tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service with real-time shipment updates
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load planning
- Secure cargo according to industry best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable late-model box truck (26' or larger)
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Ability to pass TSA background screening
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
