Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of goods across Oahu using your owned box truck
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and Hawaii-specific transport laws
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and scheduling
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Manage client communications and delivery documentation
- Utilize provided GPS tracking for real-time route adjustments
- Support warehouse operations when required for loading/unloading efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability coverage $1M+)
- Reliable late-model box truck (26' or larger preferred)
- Familiarity with Honolulu's geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer service orientation and professionalism
