Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain assigned box truck for regional freight delivery
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and on-time delivery performance
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, logs, and delivery confirmations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional service
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for seamless load transitions
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Proven on-time delivery rate above 95%
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service
- Reliable personal vehicle for non-commercial travel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
