Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely on assigned local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Verify delivery documentation and obtain proper signatures from recipients.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the truck cabin and cargo area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong understanding of basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be available to work night shifts and weekends as required.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
