Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the company's technology foresight framework with 5-year predictive modeling
- Lead strategic initiatives in emerging tech sectors including AI, blockchain, and quantum computing
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive innovations
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future possibilities into tangible product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global tech forums
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards of directors
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused research or strategy documents
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data modeling and visualization tools
