Responsibilities
- Forecast emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market implications through horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Design and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 business objectives and growth targets
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into tangible product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narrative frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies across departments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to scout disruptive technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with portfolio of future-focused presentations
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Academy) required
