Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, scientific breakthroughs, and socio-economic indicators to forecast 3-10 year horizons
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare organizations for disruptive futures
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in exponential technology domains
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex foresight insights into actionable business strategies and product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-suite and external stakeholders
- Published author or speaker at global innovation/futures conferences preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
