Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, social, and economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ market dominance
- Develop and implement strategic innovation frameworks that align with long-term business objectives
- Lead ideation sessions and R&D initiatives for next-gen products and services
- Collaborate with C-suite to embed foresight into corporate strategy and risk mitigation
- Present compelling future scenarios to stakeholders to drive investment and adoption decisions
- Mentor innovation teams in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry think tanks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future visions
- Certification in Innovation Management (e.g., INSEAD, MIT)
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping environments
