Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026+ foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech) into product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and deliver executive briefings on future market shifts
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Champion a culture of experimental innovation through hackathons and design thinking workshops
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and technological megatrends affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, or disruptive technology roles
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact matrix)
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementation or innovation leadership
- Experience working in agile environments with rapid prototyping cycles
