Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business growth objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3) to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in partnership with MIT and Stanford
- Present strategic technology forecasts to investors and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology adoption impact and ROI on future-facing initiatives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget across pilot programs and strategic technology partnerships
- Author thought leadership reports published in TechCrunch and Harvard Business Review
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or emerging tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies with $50M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of ethical AI governance, quantum computing applications, and sustainable tech
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) for next-gen technology initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to C-suite audiences
- Published author or speaker at TED, Web Summit, or equivalent global innovation forums
