Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech) and assess market readiness
- Partner with product teams to prototype and launch 3-5 emerging tech initiatives annually
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with ROI projections and risk mitigation frameworks
- Build and manage an external innovation ecosystem through partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global tech labs
- Drive cross-functional adoption of new technologies through change management programs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology deployment strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on future tech
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Experience scaling technology initiatives in Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., Google Cloud AI, IBM Quantum)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology transformation projects
