Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, bio-convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive intelligence to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Present technology strategies to investors, board members, and industry consortia
- Build and lead a high-impact technology foresight team
- Develop patent portfolios and IP protection strategies for future innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record launching products/services targeting 2025+ markets
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or neurotech
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technology evolution or innovation management
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Institute for the Future preferred)
