Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling innovation proposals
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology trends
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Published research in quantum computing or advanced AI systems
- Proven track record of scaling technology from concept to market
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis)
- Deep knowledge of blockchain, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (DARPA, NSF)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio of implemented futuristic technology solutions
