Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps by analyzing market trends, patent landscapes, and emerging research
- Lead strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Oversee pilot programs for next-gen prototypes
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong financial modeling and ROI analysis skills
- Published thought leadership in tech journals
- Experience with global tech policy frameworks
- Certification in foresight methodology (e.g., CFIP) preferred
