Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-focused solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and executive stakeholders
- Build partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory impacts on technology adoption
- Author thought leadership on future technology trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with scenario planning expertise
- Experience with agile/lean innovation methodologies
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems
- Ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
