Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology strategy roadmaps targeting 2026+ market opportunities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-focused solutions
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions
- Secure partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in launching futuristic products/services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- MBA or advanced degree in technology, business, or engineering
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation budgets
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
