Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess commercial viability post-2026
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present innovation insights to executive leadership and board members
- Secure R&D funding and manage technology incubation programs
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and investors
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., CFTE) highly valued
