Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech accelerators
- Present quarterly tech strategy briefings to the C-suite and board of directors
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor a team of 15+ futurists and technical architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech innovations with $50M+ impact
- PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE/Nature on future tech applications
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Experience securing government innovation grants (DARPA, NSF) and venture capital
