Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, pharmaceuticals, and sensitive equipment to healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for time-sensitive shipments
- Accurately document delivery logs using our proprietary tracking system
- Coordinate with hospital staff, labs, and pharmacies for seamless handoffs
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain clean, organized transport units
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard handling standards
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical/courier logistics
- OSHA bloodborne pathogens certification preferred
- Exceptional time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Pass background check and drug screening
