Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for route adjustments and delivery schedules
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of goods using proper equipment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Document delivery paperwork and maintain digital records
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Proficient with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
