Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in and around Louisville, KY.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company operational policies.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving any delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records in a timely manner.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driver's license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Louisville, KY, and the surrounding local geography.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or DUIs.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Proficiency with GPS navigation apps and handheld electronic devices.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
