Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport cargo to designated customer locations within a specified radius.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security and handling with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate digital logs (ELD) and daily mileage reports as required by federal regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery point, resolving issues professionally and courteously.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends if necessary.
