Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling packages with care and resolving delivery issues as they arise.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Follow strict delivery routes and time schedules to meet customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
