Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated addresses within the Portland metro area.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time while maintaining a high standard of customer service and professional appearance.
- Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues, cleanliness, and safety, and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Handle all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, receipts, and proof of delivery forms, with 100% accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and cargo area at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers and resolve any delivery issues that may arise.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and app-based reporting.
- Reliable transportation to and from the company depot.
- Basic English proficiency for communication.
