Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial locations in the Detroit area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a clean driving record.
- Provide outstanding customer service by handling packages with care and communicating professionally.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and optimize fuel usage.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo, including lifting boxes that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
