Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food packages, retail goods, and essential supplies to customers within designated New Orleans zones
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication through our mobile tracking app
- Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges in real-time
- Adhere to food safety protocols when handling temperature-sensitive deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and navigate stairs with packages
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking and customer communication
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Exceptional customer service mindset and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of New Orleans neighborhoods and traffic patterns
