Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional weekend routes (Fri-Sun)
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and perform daily vehicle inspections
- Load/unload freight with precision using forklifts or pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding ETAs
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and traffic regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) with flexible weekday hours
