Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and supplies to residential and commercial locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
- Operate GPS systems and delivery tracking technology
- Assist with loading/unloading of vehicles when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans streets and neighborhoods
- Reliable transportation to reporting location
- Smartphone with data plan for delivery apps
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and route planning
