Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across New Orleans
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our mobile tracking system
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Handle fragile and temperature-sensitive packages with appropriate care
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience in package delivery or logistics preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with New Orleans neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
