Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety policies to ensure zero accidents.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor, ringing doorbells, and handling packages with the utmost care.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues immediately.
- Accurately complete delivery receipts and paperwork within the designated timeframes.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper organization and safety during handling.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, or delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly without assistance.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate efficiently using GPS systems.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, customer-centric attitude.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and rain.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify minor vehicle issues is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
