Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) for regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route efficiency
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight using proper techniques
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and Bay Area geography
- Basic computer literacy for ELD and communication systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Must pass background check and provide employment verification
