Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 24-26ft box truck for local/regional deliveries throughout New York metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and required documentation
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks and minor preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and timely pickups/deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and NYC traffic ordinances
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (MVR required)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience in urban environments
- Must own or have access to a 24-26ft box truck in excellent mechanical condition
- Proof of commercial auto insurance with $1M liability coverage
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Smartphone with reliable data for communication and GPS navigation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
